ADI Culture Award’s objective is to encourage public recognition of those projects that, in both fields of design and culture, help to promote and update product design socially and conceptually, or projects that are useful to incentivize dialogue, ideas and activity in this discipline.
Since 1961, ADI-FAD has given Delta Awards to the best products, and since 1976, the ADI Medals have been given to the best final year projects in the field of industrial design. The first edition of ADI Culture Awards was in 2016.
The competition is organised around two main categories:
– The project category will award projects known up to 3 years before the contest closing date (February 2018).
– Career category will recognise those projects or professionals whose continuous career path in the field of the contest has been relevant. A unique prize for each contest edition will be given in this category, chosen by the jury among the observers proposals.
